Myungseo Song

I'm a senior undergraduate student in Computer Science and Engineering at Seoul National University. Previously, I worked as an undergraduate researcher in the Computer Vision Lab at SNU with Prof. Bohyung Han, focusing on neural image compression. After that, I worked as a machine learning researcher and team lead at computer vision startups, with research advice from Prof. Jong-Seok Lee and Prof. Tae-Hyun Oh, focusing on person re-identification (ReID) and text-to-speech (TTS).

Research Interests

My research interests lie in machine learning and computer vision. I mainly focus on building generalizable representations under distribution shifts and learning with minimal human supervision. I am especially interested in multimodal learning and visual reasoning in 2D/3D and video domains. My ultimate goal is to develop reliable intelligent systems that can reason about the physical world and interact with humans.
